The Classic Traditional® DIY Raised Panel System uses wood panels to enhance virtually any interior space, tracing their heritage back to the 17th-century Colonial period. Our raised panel system components complement each other and provide high quality, fully coordinated interior solutions. For help with your design, all orders and requests should print, complete and submit our Design Request Form.

First, only select Grade-A sliced veneers are laminated to a stable engineered wood core on our stainable woods. Our engineered cores are much more stable than solid woods so our product is less susceptible to shrinkage, twisting and splitting. Our real wood veneers include oak, maple and cherry. If you plan to paint your raised panels, our factory primed paintable surfaces offer an attractive alternative at a very economical cost. Each alternative is available ready-to-finish or factory-finished in several standard stains. Or, for an upcharge, we will even match the stain color you specify.

A variety of panel sizes fit with precision-machined rails and stiles to create a fully integrated assembly system that reduces installation time and costs. Overall finished heights using these kits range from 32" to 44" wainscot. Custom panel widths and heights may also be ordered, up to full wall height.

Raised paneling is considered the style of choice for the more important and formal gathering spaces of a building, often encompassing foyers, libraries, dining and living rooms. In today's homes, it is also extensively used in home offices, entertainment centers, and anywhere the classic raised panel look is desired.

Easy Order and Review process

We sell this system in 8-running-feet kits, but customize almost every order to fit your walls. To order, select the desired width of your panels, (we'll suggest the best aesthetic width if you ask for the NEC designer's choice,) then select the finished height you want.  Select the wood type, a finish option, and if you have ordered more than 1 kit, select the appropriate Quantity Discount. After measuring the length of your wall(s) in feet, divide your total wall length by 8, and order that many kits (rounding up to the next highest size kit.)  Add to cart. Review the Related Items at the bottom of the page to see if you want to order any accessories, then check out. Submit a Design Request Form to us, and keep an eye out for a drawing to confirm, which will be sent to you via email.

IMPORTANT STEP ... after placing your order ...

Print, completely fill out and forward our DESIGN REQUEST FORM  (for walls) for our designer's review. Watch your email inbox (normally within 24 business hours) for a communication from us including a drawing of your wall(s) and a bill of material for your order. We will need your written email/fax approval before we charge your card and before we send your order to production.
