Classic Wainscoting Panels

It is time to reinvent the dining room table.  Following through with the dark chocolate walls and white wainscoting panels, use a brown and white theme. Instead of your traditional place mats, find a brown stripe or chevron napkin and starch and iron them. This is a cheaper alternative and adds an element of design with the square shape.  Burlap is a hugely popular decorating tool right now, and very inexpensive.  Re-purpose candleholders and candles by wrapping burlap strips and tying ribbon or twine around the middle.  Use the same ribbon or twine, or a combination of both to wrap around your napkins. For the center of the table find along rectangular open container.  Distress this a beautiful white color, then fill with acorns, pine cones, and moss. Add some large decorative balls in a brown and white print to either side.  You have just created an exquisite thanksgiving table with minimal cost or effort.
