The Classic Traditional® Raised Panel System uses wood panels to accentuate and enhance virtually any interior space. The system's components complement each other and provide high quality, fully coordinated interior solutions.
Select Grade-A sliced veneer or decorative film is laminated to a stable engineered wood core. The core is more stable than solid wood. So, it's less susceptible to shrinkage, twisting and splitting. The real wood veneers include oak, maple, and cherry. If you plan to paint the panels, our primed paintable surface provides an attractive alternative at a very economical cost. Each alternative is available ready-to-finish or factory-finished in several standard stains. Or, for an upcharge, we will even match the stain color you specify.
A variety of panel sizes fit with precision-machined rails and stiles to create a fully integrated assembly system that reduces installation time and costs. Standard heights range from 32" wainscot to full walls. Custom panel widths and heights may also be ordered.
The Classic Traditional® Raised Panel System is the perfect way to achieve the high quality look and feel of custom millwork, at a fraction of the cost.
History - Classic Traditional's raised panel style first appeared in the 17th century. It has been incorporated into Colonial, Adam, Georgian, Federalist, Shingle Style, Queen Anne, and various revival styles.
Applications - Raised paneling is considered the style of choice for the more important and formal gathering spaces of a building, often encompassing foyers, libraries, dining and living rooms. In today's homes, it is also extensively used in home offices, entertainment centers, and anywhere the classic raised panel look is desired.
