Q. How large of an area will this fireplace heat?

A.  Heating capacity depends upon many factors including insulation, heat loss, geographic location, the location of the heater in the space, as well as outdoor temperatures, to name a few of the other determining factors.  Typically, though, our 5,000 Btu heaters will adequatley warm up to 450 square feet.  It can be thought of a as a suplemental or a space heater.

Q. Are electric fireplaces expensive to run?

A. This really depends on many factors, like the previous question.  Our electric units can be operated either with or without heat.  With units that incorporate LED systems, when operating without heat, the cost is almost inconsequential, especially as compared to gas or wood logs that consume fuel whenever there is a fire, with lots of heat wasted out the chimney.  Our electric fireplaces are appliances you can use throughout the year without wasting energy and when the electric heater is used, 100% of the heat generated comes into the room, with no waste.
