Our Barrington Arch thin-cast Stone Mantels for fireplaces come complete with field-adjustable (approximately 3/4" thick) stone surround facing panels to accommodate a variety of sizes of fireplaces, and a matching 3-piece stone hearth. Be inspired by the classic and timeless beauty, durability and affordability of our selection of classic arched mantel style!  A beautiful focal point of any home, our mantels are hand-made in America with the rugged appearance of authentic stone, but with architectural design and relatively lightweight.  Constructed from a combination of gypsum, crushed stone and fiber materials, these mantels are lightweight, non-combustible and do not shrink or swell with temperature or humidity variations and they are easily installed by homeowners or other persons with just basic carpentry skills.  Shipped in a crate, the components include a Mantel Shelf, two mantel legs, 3/4" thick surround facing panels that are 'on-site adjustable', and a complimentary, decoratively stepped edge 72" x 20" x 1" (3-pc) hearth. The facing panel legs can be easily cut to height and they "slide" behind the mantel legs to accommodate a variety of firebox opening widths. The surround facing header slides up or down (like a 'garage door') to align with to top of your firebox. While the finish is usually left as is, these mantels can be painted or faux finished to your individual taste. Offered in Buff Sandstone slightly textured color.
